GLUE cards: I am currently in the process of getting OG certified. I feel like my brain is full of new ideas and strategies to use this year. I LOVE IT! I love to learn new things. My best trick of the trade so far this year is to bump up the multisensory in my lessons with these glue cards.
Take whatever flash cards you have and trace over them in glue. The glue dries clear and students can trace on them with their finger, and feel the glue.
Here are the sound cards that I made. The glue is not quite dry yet. But, when it dries you will not be able to see it. I use these to flash the sounds to my small group. When they say the incorrect sound, I have them trace the card three times, and say the letter name, key word, and sound. I have seen HUGE improvements in their sound-symbol fluency! This strategy works great for learning sight words too!
EVERYTHING IN MY STORE IS 20% OFF!
I have lots of goodies for you! Here are the letter cards that I used in my "trick" above. These are only free for the hop, so get them now! Just glue and go! (oh yeah, but wait for them to dry first)
